The doctor will see you – anywhere, anytime! BlueCare, a telemedicine service offered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, allows you to consult with a doctor online 24/7, conveniently avoiding the need to take time off from work or school.

The BlueCare App offers the following features:

• Consult with doctors from your phone or tablet at your convenience - no appointments necessary
• Save time and money by bypassing trips to the ER or urgent care facilities
• Obtain assistance for non-emergency conditions, such as sinus infections, minor stomach issues, allergies, rashes, bladder infections, or the common cold
• Receive prescriptions and seek guidance regarding your medications
• Select from a list of available online doctors within the BlueCare network
• Save your member ID card information on your first visit for automatic login during future consultations

BlueCare is powered by American Well, a provider of telemedicine services for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana and its subsidiaries.
